Message from Siobhan Wyper, Head of Preparatory School
It has been another busy week across the whole College, filled with opportunities for pupils of all ages to learn, grow and thrive. From our youngest pupils beginning their journey on the Pelican Pathway, to our older pupils representing the College in sports fixtures, there has been a wonderful sense of community and shared purpose throughout.
The Pelican Pathway, newly introduced to our youngest pupils, is already helping to nurture important values such as perseverance, enthusiasm and knowledge. These values will serve as guiding principles as pupils move through the College, underpinning not only their academic learning but also their personal growth and character development.
Our sports programme has been in full flow, with fixtures that continue to showcase the determination, teamwork and ambition of our pupils. It is always a pleasure to see them supporting one another, celebrating success and learning from challenges.
Despite the very wet weather this week, pupils have shown adaptability and positivity, and we are all hopeful for a drier spell over the weekend. Classrooms have been buzzing with fantastic learning, with creativity, curiosity and critical thinking on display in every part of the College.
A gentle reminder to all families: please revisit the uniform guidance in the Parents A to Z. Upholding high standards in appearance is an important part of the pride and respect we hold for ourselves, one another and our College.
Thank you, as always, for your support in helping our pupils to flourish. We wish all families a restful weekend with, hopefully, some sunshine.
With best wishes,
Siobhan
