Year 9 & 10 Residential Trip Parent Workshop

On Tuesday, parents were welcomed to a presentation led by Ms Turle about the exciting upcoming Year 9 and 10 residential trip to Kanchanaburi. The session offered an overview of the trip’s itinerary, aims, and expected learning outcomes, highlighting how the experience will combine adventure, teamwork, and outdoor education in a meaningful and engaging way.

A standout feature of the trip will be Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP) – an exciting activity that will help pupils develop new skills, boost confidence, and strengthen coordination and resilience as they explore the scenic waterways of Kanchanaburi. As with all of our trips, there is strong emphasis on safety and supervision, with all activities led by qualified professionals from our residential provider, SUP Kanchanaburi and fully supported by Brighton College staff. In addition to SUP, the trip will include a wide range of activities designed to nurture teamwork, leadership, and independence, while also offering our pupils the chance to engage with the natural beauty and historical importance of the region.

We would like to thank all the parents who attended the session. For those who were unable to join us, a copy of the presentation and key information will be shared via email shortly. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact Ms Turle directly.
