Dear All, 

As we reach the half-term break, it is a great moment to pause and reflect on what has been an extraordinary seven weeks at Brighton College Bangkok. From the very start of term, the energy and spirit of our community have shone through in every corner of the school.

Earlier in the term we celebrated the landmarks of the opening of the Sixth Form Centre and the Senior School building, both of which symbolise the College’s continued growth and ambition. Last week, our beautiful Wai Kru ceremony was a super moment to remind us all of the values at the heart of Thai culture and of our own shared sense of community.

On the sports fields and courts, pupils have represented the College superbly in football, swimming, basketball, netball and much more, displaying teamwork, skill and determination in equal measure. And in the performing arts, the various recitals in assemblies and orchestral performance at our recent Open House have been wonderful.

There is so much still to come: the Winter Fair, our senior school production, prep school performances, sports days and a series of themed assemblies that promise to inspire and delight.

Thank you, as always, for your support, enthusiasm and encouragement throughout the term. I hope you and your families enjoy a restful and happy half-term break next week.
