Football

There was success on the football field last weekend for the U19 boys in their annual TISAC event. The boys played well all day and finished in 2nd place after a tough final. Well done to all of the squad, and special mention to Alex for being named as Player of the Day!

There was more football success later in the week for our U11 boys in their SSL league. Well done to Matt for being named as Player of the Match for this one. The girls also played well in their fixture, dominating SHC throughout to earn a well deserved win.

Basketball

It has been a busy week on the basketball court for our Brighton ballers. Last weekend our U9s competed in the Flames Tournament at STA. The teams played incredibly well all day with the boys coming away as champions and the girls finishing in bronze medal position.

Later in the week the U11B teams played ANS, again both teams played well, showing the progress and depth in the U11 squad. The U15s were also in action at the GBAC tournaments on Wednesday. Such a large group of players represented our school which again shows great depth and progress in our squad. Well done to Robin, Inter, Erwin, Cooper Ping Ping W and Vivi who were named as players of the day for the Brighton teams.

Swimming

Congratulations to the following swimmers who have recently broken school swimming records:

Pun (Year 6) - 50m Freestyle (long course) and 100m backstroke record breaker!

Haley (Year 8) - 50m Breaststroke (long course) record breaker!

Jasper (Year 13) - 50m Backstroke (long course) record breaker!

Netball

Our senior netball team were in action this week against a strong BKKP team. The girls held themselves well on the court and should be proud of their versatility with positions. Player of the Match was Pi for her cool head under pressure.
