Year 8 Monoprinting
Year 8 pupils have been exploring monoprinting as part of their “Man Made” art project. Using layers of ink, texture, and drawing, they have created bold and expressive prints inspired by industrial and architectural forms. Monoprinting is a technique that allows for unique, one-off images, combining spontaneity, texture, and mark-making to produce rich visual effects that can’t be exactly repeated. Pupils have enjoyed experimenting with this creative process, developing both their technical skills and their confidence in making expressive, original artwork.
These prints are by Jess, Star, Diamond S and Lisa
